The Wyoming Baptist Church was founded in 1882. John Tangaman, a Lockland paper mill owner, paid $2,925 for the Burns Avenue site. Cincinnati architect, A. C. Nash, designed the Victorian Gothic building with a slate roof and a beautiful stained glass window featuring a Star of David.
Twenty-five members were dismissed from the Lockland Baptist Church to be the founding members. Over the years the church has grown in vision and mission to bring the Good News of the Gospel to the whole world.
